Terrapin

Background video: Highlights reel of Terrapin's repertoire of work, work which is both impact and artistry-driven. You first see a goldfish shadow puppet, the second clip includes a giant ibis bird puppet walking the streets of Salamanca surrounded by people. Puppet makers are then tying material to another giant puppet, this time a heap of compost, that puppet is then seen in the streets of Salamanaca market surrounded by market-goers. In the next scene, there's an array of Australian birds as shadow puppets are shown to an aged care audience by young children. A person then walks through a book store holding something long alongside their body. We then see a series of fast clips of various makers making puppets, aged care residents interacting with puppets, a puppet show in a theatre, a large scene event work, and finishing on an Indigenous shadow puppetry work where a boat flows down a river.
