Description
The brief: reimagine a sports mascot to be uniquely Tasmanian, working with as many young AFL fans as possible. From this, Rum’un was born.
We were commissioned by the fledgling Tasmania Football Club to design and build them a mascot in collaboration with Tasmanians. Designer Bryony Anderson headed out on the road, consulting with junior football players and school students to understand what they wanted in a mascot. The answer: tattoos, footy skills, and fearsomeness (but not too scary, for the little kids).
